In 2011 we've been asked to record a song for an upcoming release: "A Flower Full of Stars: A Tribute to The Flower Kings" by Musea Records. We've jumped on the opportunity and re-imagined their song called "My Cosmic Lover". Our intention was to record like The Beatles, moving the original song back in time, to the sweet swingin' sixties. You'll maybe recognize the drum groove from Tomorrow Never Knows, and some other hidden easter-eggs from cult songs from the sixties.
We had so much fun... the arrangement came together really fast, in one or two afternoons... and we did the recordings in a few days, mixed the song in a hurry and that was it.
The original version was released on the 4CD box in 2011.
Although we were happy with our fast mix, we did a new, properly mixed and mastered fresh version.
Enjoy this piece of retro-proto-prog-flower-power-beat-bossa-nova version.

Got hooked after the first 5 minutes. A lengthy genre pioneered (arguably) by Yes, but taken further by Fragile, and missing from the latter yes albums.
